Glycerol

Glycerol is also called glycerine or glycerin. The molecular formula of glycerol is C3H8O3. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with warm sweetness. It could adsorb the moisture in the air, and also hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, and hydrogen cyanide. The pH value is neutral on litmus.

It mainly used in paint, resins, gums and other coatings production, is also commonly used in tobacco processing, toothpaste, medicines, cosmetics and other daily necessities, as well as food processing.
